Diorskin Nude is one of Dior’s most recent foundations to be released, The product boasts to offer a slightly dewy finish as well as being extremely lightweight. This weightless formula is an innovative combination of both various mineral pigments and a unique blend of Mineralised Water. All of the elements featured in this foundation are 100% natural.
In order to suit a wide range of skin types, Dior has produced this particular product in an array of shades, ranging from Ivory to Light beige, Medium Beige to Honey Beige and Dark Beige to Dark Brown. These exact shades each have a numbering system, 070 being the deepest shade whilst number 010 offers the lightest shade and a colour that is completely neutral. This means it houses no yellow, pink or peach undertones. All of the foundations ending in a zero will in fact reflect neutral undertones, whilst those ending in the number one are more suitable for olive skin tones and will reflect notes of yellow undertones. All numbers ending in two will reflect cool tones such as pink and those ending in three will reflect peach undertones, these peachy notes are better suited to those with warm skin tones.
When applying this foundation or any foundation always be sure to match the tone of your neck to that of your facial complexion, otherwise an unsightly line will appear. Despite this foundation appearing weightless and being of an almost watery consistency, it still manages to achieve an all over even coverage.
