The Estée Lauder label has announced they are to take over the cosmetics company, Smashbox. This is just another prestigious brand to add to their already impressive list. Labels include Tom Ford, Bobbi Brown and MAC.

Smashbox cosmetics were created in 1996 by the great-grandsons of the renowned make-up brand Max Factor. The duo then went on to create a line of cosmetics that fulfilled all the needs of a professional photo shoot, each piece in the collection takes inspiration from photo studio celebrities.

Now surely the brand is set to grow even more especially as they are being backed by Estée Lauder and will therefore have access to their widespread knowledge in effective execution, worldwide marketing, product expansion and allocation.

One particular product that has caught our eye comes in the shape of the Smashbox O-Gloss which allows you to create the perfect pink pout in a high gloss style. The inventive formula when applied appears clear then transforms into a custom pink hue due to a reaction with the users personal skin chemistry.

The Smashbox O-Gloss has been created using a state of the art micro circulating Goji Berry-c complex, this elite ingredient has been combined with pomegranate seed antioxidants, deeply hydrating avocado oil which aids in creating an intense shine, ginkgo biloba and rejuvenating marine botanicals.
