Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Toilette
Generally the higher the concentration of a fragrance the more intense the fruity, spicy and wood notes, however the lower the concentration pays more emphasis on the floral notes.
Coco Mademoiselle have introduced a lower concentrated version of their original scent in the shape of an Eau De Toilette that has been created with a younger clientele in mind. It is a slightly simplified version of the original. Personally I find it a little incomplete.
The Chanel Coco Mademoiselle eau de toilette fragrance houses a variety of elements, including Sicilian Orange and Calabrian Bergamot which make up the top notes. Middle notes include Oriental Jasmine and Morning rose and the base notes are a combination of Indonesian Patchouli, Haitian Vetiver, Vanilla from Réunion and White Musk.
The fragrance offers a scent that is fresh with an oriental edge, the character of this fragrance is both charming and sexy with a hint of masculinity. This makes it a less complex scent than previous scents in the Chanel collection.
Coco Mademoiselle begins as an extremely fresh fragrance with added citrus notes. The warmer notes become present after a few minutes of application.
The vanilla and patchouli elements housed in the fragrance create earthy and natural notes. The citrus elements create an instant edge, making it the perfect summer fragrance and one that offers an interesting composition, with the base notes easily lasting up to 24 hours.
The Chanel Coco Madamoiselle fragrance comes in several versions including the Pure perfume, which is priced at £66.56 for a size of 7.5 ml. The Eau de Parfum, which for 100ml will cost you £72.43; this also comes in a 50ml size which is priced at £52.85 and a 35ml size which can be obtained for a price of £39. The 100ml Eau de Toilette costs a total of £61.66 and also comes in a 50ml size at £42.09.
The pure perfume and the 100ml and 50ml sizes of the Eau De Parfum are both housed in the infamous Chanel bottle. The 35ml EDP however is contained in a subtle rectangular shaped bottle.
Both the EDP and the EDT are available as refillable purse-sprays and the collection also provides a range of body products.
