L’Oreal is set to buy the US-based nail company Essie.
The French make-up brand L’Oreal has reported that they are to buy the US-based nail company Essie. The financial details of the purchase have been kept on the down low for the moment.
The current sales of Essie’s eccentric yet desirable nail polish ranges are said to have made over an impressive 28 million dollars in the previous 12 months. The purchase would of Essie will add another brand to the list of others already owned by the prestigious L’Oreal label, the cosmetic label already have shares in a variety of other beauty and hair brands including the likes of Keratase, Lancome and YSL Beaute. The individual nail company Essie will certainly help further the brands status in both the nail care and nail colour market.
