Voyage d'Hermès

Voyage d'Hermès

Entitled Voyage d’Hermès, the new fragrance from the prestigious fashion house aims to take those who are fans of the luxury label on an exciting journey. The new scent is an innovation in fragrance development as it will be available to purchase as a unisex product.

The contradictory scent is both suitable for men and women and has been created in house by top perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena. The new addition to the fashion houses perfume line is the next chapter in the brands development, following on from the two previous scents, ‘Terre d’Hermès’ and ‘Eau des Merveilles’.

Just like the previous two scents, Voyage d’Hermès is also dedicated to the esteemed labels legacy. Housed in a fresh packaging that echoes both a contemporary and sophisticated style, the fragrance offers both hints of fresh woody notes contrasted with that of darker musky elements in order to appeal to both genders. The elements featured in this scent are said to convey a form of escapism and in turn take the wearer to a new place.

The lustrously designed bottle features a movable aluminium casing which in turn enables easy application of the product. Held in position by a monogrammed saddle-style nail, the bottles shape holds a strong resemblance to a riding stirrup and echoes the brands heritage perfectly.

The new fragrance is priced at £53 for 35ml and can be found in various department stores, online at Harrods and also in all Hermes boutiques.

Agent Provocateur offers a floral scent with seductive notes of wood and musk in the shape of ‘Strip’.

strip-eau-parfum-spray‘Strip’ is part of the perfume collection from the renowned perfume brand Agent Provocateur. The scent is available in both the standard and miniature size and comes in a divine egg-shaped casing. The opaque container features both black and deep pink typography complete with a leather tassel detail adorning the neck of the bottle.

Both the name and design of the perfume echo the brands seductive nature. This theme can be found enthused in all their products and is a perfect style for the lingerie label, echoing the brands sexy feel.

Notes of ylang-ylang and iris can be found in this bouquet and these are combined with powerful musky wood hints in the shape of geranium. These commanding notes are calmed with contrasting hints of sweet and fragrant vanilla and soft velvety amber. After application to the skin the scent almost seems to get sweeter, resembling the brands original Eau de Parfum, Agent Provocateur.

The elements that make up Strip’s aroma create both a seductive and grown-up character due to the deep notes of wood and musk. This however resolves into a smooth amber aroma, essentially formed from rock rose, vanilla and benzoin.

The perfume boasts to stay on the skins surface, still offering a sweet scent an impressive nine hours after the first application and despite being quite a deep and dramatic perfume, it doesn’t appear overpowering.

Finding a fragrance is just like finding attire to portray your very own personal and unique style, whatever your persona there’s a fragrance out there that best describes your characteristics; this could be either flirty and playful conveyed through light and fruity tones or sombre and serious, with musky notes that are more suitable for an evening.

With distinct notes of intense cedarwood and amber, the new scent by Comme Des Gargons certainly isn’t for the shy and retiring wall flower. This particularly seductive scent is encased in a limited edition glitter-style perfume bottle and is aptly named Glitter 2. The scent is a follow-up from the original, which is proven to be the brands most popular fragrance to date.

The perfume is a combination of seductive blends including hints of divine incense and arid woody notes of Sumi. The whole concept of the aroma is derived from the Japanese temples and takes inspiration from the celebrated Sumi ink that originated in the shrines.

A unique and distinctive quality offered by the fragrance is the many flavours that are packed into this one single scent. Patchouli and amber hints make up the seductive notes whilst essences of mandarin and orange in the shape of fresh aldehydes make up the fresh and upbeat tones in order to create a contrast. Magnolia adds a cheerful and positive edge to the aroma. Other ingredients include cumin, angelica root, vetiver, labdanum, cade oil, absolute folia and absolute mate.

The sweet yet seductive smelling perfume is available nationwide at a retail price of £44 for 50ml EDP.

The new candy fragrance range dipped in sweetness.

Candy Apples Range

Candy Apples Range

DKNY has combined both the sweetness of candy with the freshness of the apple essence, resulting in the all new ‘Delicious Candy Apple” range. Each Candy Apple is filled to the brim with syrupy flavors including delicious fruits, succulent edibles and fragrant floral notes.

The range is available in three mouthwatering flavors, which consist of juicy berry, ripe raspberry and sweet caramel.

Juicy Berry is a fruit cocktail of blackcurrants, blueberries, pears and lychee, with hints of elusive apple blossom and silky soft rose petals. This very berry fragrance also encases hints of delectable woodnotes.

Ripe Raspberry offers a scent that is full of juicy raspberry notes, hints of sweet lily and peonies, a squeeze of lime and to add a twist, a little cola accord.

Sweet Caramel is the most fanciful of the three fragrances, portraying a scent that is almost edible. Dreamy caramel, marshmallow, pear and whipped vanilla notes add a little flirty fun to the perfume, whilst elements of luscious fruits and delicious flowers keep it fresh.

The gourmet fragrances have just hit the high street and are the perfect follow up from the debut fragrance. The original “Be Delicious” perfume was created by perfumer Maurice Roucel and took inspiration from the freshness and crispness of the green apple. The refreshing aroma was a big hit in 2004, described as a flirtatious scent with both cool and sensual notes.

The new additions to the Delicious portfolio have taken inspiration from the candy apples you see at the funfair. Each Candy Apple comes in the iconic Be Delicious apple packaging complete with a conventional applicator
